Are you cloud ready? 20b Federal Dollars Targeted for the Cloud

According to a new InformationWeek Government survey, half of federal agencies will be in the cloud within 12 months.

The chart above is from the Obama administration’s Federal Cloud Computing Strategy (pdf link) which discusses this strategy in detail. These new policies require agencies to use cloud services where possible for new IT requirements.

Some benefits of cloud computing listed in the document:

• Assets will be better utilized.
